The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, approved these appointments, which are effective from October 2024 to September 2026. Additionally, the Vice Chancellor has extended the tenure of one HOD to ensure the smooth handling of accreditation processes.

In addition to the new appointments, Prof. Obi has extended the tenure of Dr. Fidelis Anake Atseye as the Head of the Department of Banking and Finance. This extension, which will run from October 21, 2024, to December 20, 2024, is aimed at ensuring a smooth accreditation process in the department during the upcoming October/November session.
The Vice Chancellor urged all HODs to carry out their duties diligently, warning that failure to meet deadlines or produce expected results would result in sanctions.
